About David Chung

Founder, Kyber Five | Host, Coach as Entrepreneur

David Chung builds the marketing systems that turn coaching practices into coaching businesses.

For over twelve years, he’s worked inside the operational backbone of the coaching industry. First as part of Marshall Goldsmith’s certification team, where he helped build the digital infrastructure that certified more than 3,500 coaches across six continents, and later as COO of Global Coach Group.

That experience taught him something most marketing consultants miss: coaches don’t struggle because they lack skill. They struggle because they’re running a referral-dependent practice in a world that rewards visible, systematic marketing.

Today, through Kyber Five, David helps executive coaches replace unpredictable referrals with predictable client acquisition. His flagship framework, CoachOps, is a 6-month marketing system implementation designed specifically for coaches who’ve built credibility but haven’t built infrastructure.

David’s philosophy is simple: visibility creates opportunity. Coaches don’t need more hustle. They need clear systems that make their expertise discoverable, repeatable, and scalable.

He shares this perspective weekly on his podcast Coach as Entrepreneur, where he interviews coaches who’ve successfully made the shift from practitioner to business owner, and through his LinkedIn newsletter The Coach’s Shift, which explores the mindset and business moves behind sustainable coaching careers.

David bridges technology, operations, and coaching—bringing structure to the parts of the business most coaches avoid until it’s too late.
